FAQs
Can wearing Ovarium cause an infection?
Studies have shown that cups like Ovarium that are made from biocompatible material show no adverse health effects, no toxicity and no increase in vaginal infections.
How do I know which size Ovarium Cup to use?
We have included a S/M cup and a M/L cup so that you can choose which is right for your body. If you have not had children before or have slim hips the S/M cup is a good place to start. If you have had children before or have wider hips, the M/L cup may fit you best. When practicing with Ovarium, pick the one that is most comfortable to you and that does not slide out when you bear down.
When do I put in Ovarium?
There are two easy ways to use Ovarium. The simplest way is after your partner ejacutales and removes his penis, immediately insert Ovarium before sitting up or standing. The cup will catch and hold as much semen as possible. If you prefer to not have sex, simply put semen in the cup before immediately inserting it. It's that simple!
Can I use the bathroom or do I have to remove Ovarium first?
Ovarium sits up close to your cervix, high in your vaginal canal. You can do all your normal daily activities, including using the bathroom without removing it (similar to a tampon).
How is Ovarium different from a menstrual cup?
Ovarium was designed and patented by a Fertility Specialist Nurse Practitioner specifically for the purposes of keeping semen as close to the cervix as possible for up to 12 hours. Menstrual cups sit lower in the vagina and are not designed to hold semen.
